How to Stop Google Chrome Update Runs in Background in Windows

  •             When we open Google Chrome browser to start browsing, then 'Google Update.exe' starts automatically and runs in the background. it uses internet connection and down the speed of internet to open websites. The solution of this problem is here.
                
                Sometimes, to stop 'Google Update.exe' we opens Task Manager and stop the process. on that time, Google update stops. But when we start our computer again and starts Chrome, Google Update starts again.


                But now you can permanently stop/disable Google Update running automatically in background in windows.

    Stop Google update :
    • First click on Start menu.
    • Now select Run command.
    • Type services.msc in it and hit enter. Services window will open.
    • Now find Google Update in it and Right Click on it and open Properties.
    • To stop the Google Update runs automatically when you start your computer, change the startup type Disabled.
    • Do these steps totally two times for two Google Updates. Now Google update will permanently disabled. Enjoy Chrome!
